Caregiver Connection, specializing in elder care, is a referral service that matches private independent caregivers for direct hire by clients, who pay their caregivers directly for a placement fee. They are generally viewed as domestic employees of clients. Many of our clients have used Paychex payroll services to compensate their caregivers.

	Caregiver Compensation: The rate of caregiver compensation is determined between the caregiver and client. Clients pay caregivers directly-typically $12 - $20 per daytime hour (depending on the number of hours and level of care); $12 - $18 per nighttime hour.
	Our Referral Fee can be paid in one of two ways: Pay-as-you-go Fee (recommended for short-term situations, i.e. hospice): $3.50/hour up to $45 per day for 24 hour care
	One-Time Fee (recommended for long-term caregivers): Fee is equivalent to 1.5 month's caregiver salary. Referral is "guaranteed" for 3 months, with up to 3 additional caregivers offered. Minimum buyout $4,500.
